ADHD Coaching and Access to Work
How ADHD and AuDHD coaching can be funded through the UK Government's Access to Work scheme, and how to apply.
Can Access to Work pay for ADHD coaching?
Yes, it can. ADHD and AuDHD coaching with me may be funded through the UK Government's Access to Work scheme, subject to eligibility and acceptance. Both employees and self-employed business owners can apply.
- Self-employed applicants are typically funded at 100% of approved costs.
- The maximum annual grant is currently £69,260.
- Typical funding covers around 12 coaching sessions, with more available depending on assessed need.
- Funding runs from your application date, not from when the decision is made.
Access to Work is run by the Government, not by me, and the decision on whether to fund your coaching is theirs. Check the current rules on gov.uk/access-to-work before you apply.
How to apply
- Check eligibility and apply on gov.uk. Start at gov.uk/access-to-work. Access to Work has its own eligibility rules, separate from my coaching.
- Apply early. Waiting times can be long, and funding runs from your application date, so it pays to apply before you book anything. Check the current waiting time on gov.uk.
- Get in touch with me. I can help you understand the application process and what to ask for.
- Book your induction session. Sessions can be funded, subject to acceptance, and you can start with an induction session.
You do not need a formal ADHD or AuDHD diagnosis to work with me, because coaching is based on your lived experience and goals. Access to Work may ask for different evidence, so check what it needs.
